
Oracle PeopleSoft ePerformance Offline Solution
BackWeb Offline for Oracle PeopleSoft ePerformance enables employees and managers to work on the performance review process on the road. Performance reviews that are available for viewing and work in the ePerformance MyDocuments workflow are automatically synchronized to people’s laptops. Later, when they are in the field and disconnected, they can access a desktop instance of ePerformance using their familiar ePerformance browser UI to view, edit and modify the performance review documents. When their connection to the network is re-established, at the office, home, hotel or “hotspot”, queued work will be automatically synchronized with the PeopleSoft HRMS system. If any conflicts arise with the online ePerformance system during synchronization, the user is notified and given the opportunity to correct and re-submit the review.

People using Offline ePerformance are only able to synchronize reviews also available to them in online ePerformance. All ePerformance personalization and administrative rights are reflected in the offline as they are in the online. Users of Offline ePerformance must install the BackWeb browser plug-in, a 4MB plug-in that can be accessed over the web.
BackWeb supports Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise ePerformance 8.8 SP1 and 8.9.
