DELOITTE SELECTS BACKWEB TO PROVIDE MOBILE ACCESS TO ORACLE’S PEOPLESOFT EPERFORMANCE SOLUTION
BackWeb Solution Enables Mobile Workers to Complete Performance Reviews on the Road
SAN JOSE, Calif., November 21, 2005 – BackWeb Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: BWEB), a leading provider of offline and mobile web software, announced today that Deloitte, Canada’s leading professional services firm, has selected the BackWeb Offline Access Server™ to mobilize Oracle’s PeopleSoft ePerformance solution enabling mobile employees and managers to complete performance documents when on the road and disconnected from the network.
Users can now synchronize pending employee performance reviews to their laptop and continue to work on the reviews when traveling or disconnected from the network. When connection is re-established, queued work will be automatically synced with the PeopleSoft ePerformance application.
