AC Nielsen-France is replacing its DOS-based legacy gateway with BackWeb technology to fulfill its need for a cost-effective, scalable, and reliable solution and to improve its legal requirements mandating that the company deliver its monthly research databases by committed deadlines. With BackWeb technology, AC Nielsen-France's monthly databases representing gigabytes of data to deliver in three days, can now be seamlessly delivered and downloaded to its clients using BackWeb's patented Polite® communications technology.
