BackWeb Technologies Files Registration Statement for Initial Public OfferingNEW YORK, New York - May 17, 1999 - BackWeb® Technologies Ltd. announced today that on May 14, 1999, the company filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission a registration statement on Form F-1 for an initial public offering of its ordinary shares. Goldman, Sachs & Co. will act as the lead underwriter of the offering. The other co-managing underwriters of the offering are BancBoston Robertson Stephens, Lehman Brothers and Wit Capital Corporation.
