Partnership to Offer Software Solutions to Help Corporations Target and Manage Information Distributed to the Desktop

The integrated BackWeb/Verity solution is designed for large corporations that need to quickly distribute mission critical information in a format personalized for each user. This combination also addresses the need to extend enterprise dissemination to partners via an extranet.

Through standard customizations, Agent Server can deliver information to a BackWeb channel where it can be processed and distributed to desktop clients via BackWeb's new Infocenter v4.0 client/server knowledge center.

BackWeb's tools for customized knowledge automation and distribution on intranets and extranets complement Verity's expertise in intelligent profiling and filtering systems for knowledge retrieval.
