BackWeb Technologies Announces Knowledge Management Applications for Microsoft Site Server PlatformBackWeb Partners with Scopus to Deliver First Specific Market Applications Optimized for BackWebPalm Springs, Calif. (January 26, 1998) -- BackWeb™ Technologies, the leader in enterprise push solutions, today announced a new addition to the BackWeb product family, called BackWeb for Site Server, which will deliver integrated, enterprise level knowledge management application solutions optimized for the Microsoft® Windows NT® Server and Site Server platforms. Based on BackWeb's Infocenter 4.0, the new product takes advantage and extends core Site Server features, such as Personalization & Membership, Analysis, Search, and Push. BackWeb is also partnering with application software providers to develop specific market applications optimized for BackWeb.
